Overview
Flat Earth Curved Body was an off-site group exhibition during the summer of 2018 on the shore of Lake Michigan. Our friend Nick Kinsella brought his car gallery, Horses, with a solo presentation of Kira Scerbin's work. In the evening we had a screening. I designed comemerative beach towels with our press release information and exhibition image.

Visitors to Chicago view the oceanic Lake Michigan with awe. It reminds us of our smallness like the coasts do - then corrects - displacing us in perspective of its finite measure. Another kind of beach exists spitting distance from the luxury high-rises, across the way from east Chicago neighborhoods. A repose from the rare Chicago heat but never at the precipice
- still knowing the side that we can't see.
